Following another very successful year of WFLA tournaments the Walking Football Leagues’ Alliance (‘WFLA’) Committee have made a decision to open up a new volunteer position and seek a Women’s Tournament Organiser.
We have witnessed a disappointing amount of withdrawals in the women’s sections for a varied number of reasons this year.
The WFLA Committee appreciates that the women’s side of walking football is still in its infancy compared to the men’s in the way of leagues etc., but we have listened to feedback from many parts and feel now is the right time to act.
We have now opened up applications for a new WFLA Women’s Tournament Organiser for our WFLA Inter League Cup and WFLA Champions League Cup.
We would invite any interested party to send us a short walking football CV along with an accompanying covering letter telling us what you believe you can bring to this role.
The role will report to the WFLA Committee who will be on hand to support, advise and assist in every possible way .
