Breast Cancer UK were unfortunately unable to continue with their sponsorship of the WFLA Inter League Cup. To ensure that there was a sponsor for this competition the Walking Football Leagues’ Alliance (‘WFLA’) offered Prostate Cancer UK, an opportunity to also become its sponsor. The WFLA Management Committee are pleased to announce that Prostate Cancer UK, have agreed to be the sponsor of the WFLA Inter League Cup competition for 2026.
Derek Murr, Treasurer of the Walking Football Leagues’ Alliance says, “Once we heard that the Breast Cancer UK were unable to sponsor the competition, we offered the WFLA Inter League Cup competition sponsorship to Prostate Cancer UK. I am pleased to say they immediately jumped on the opportunity. I am grateful for their willingness to help, and their response further cements their relationship with the WFLA, and we can continue to raise awareness as a partner to campaign for vital research to save men’s and women’s lives.”
