The Walking Football Leagues’ Alliance’s Management team are pleased to announce and wishes to welcome the Worcestershire Walking Football Development League ‘(WWFDL’) to the WFLA, as its 29th member.
Mark Hyatt, the WWFDL Secretary said, “The aim of the Worcestershire Walking Football Development League is to encourage walking football in Worcestershire by providing local clubs with the opportunity to compete against each other on a regular basis. The objective is to create a social environment where an equal emphasis is placed upon enjoyment and the competitiveness of the sport.
All league matches in both age divisions are played monthly on Sunday afternoons at the same time and at the same venue.
We have chosen to join the Walking Football Leagues’ Alliance as it opens the door for Worcestershire based walking football clubs to enter national/international tournaments and competitions as well as play against clubs from other leagues.“
Please Note – Should any walking football league wishing to join the WFLA and be part of the exciting times ahead for competitive Walking Football, and be part of its ongoing development, they can now complete an online application at https://wfla.org.uk/about-us-2/how-to-join-the-wfla/
