At the WFLA Management Committee meeting of the 10th March 2026 after consultation with the Women’s Tournament organisers, it was decided that there will only be one Women’s age-category across the WFLA Inter League and League Champions Cups therefore, henceforth the Women’s Over 40’s and Women’s Over 50’s would be merged into a ‘Women’s Mixed Age’ competition for 2026 onwards.
