The WFLA Officers & Managing Committee would like to thank Mick Hill for the tremendous work he has performed as the WFLA’s Referee’s Appointments Officer and Vice Chairman, since he undertook the two roles.
Mick has brought a wealth of experience of officiating and implementing the FA’s Laws Of The Game to the WFLA since accepting those roles and of course his involvement in WFLA competitions. This is appreciated by us all at the WFLA and no doubt by our member leagues and players as well.
Mick is heavily involved with Grimsby Corinthians WFC, and feels he needs to spend more time with them and understandably of course with his family.
However, Mick will still be available for any help and guidance when asked upon by the WFLA Management team and has agreed to be appointed as the ‘WFLA Consultant Life Member.’
Mick Hill says, “It has been great to be the Referee’s Appointments Officer for the WFLA and I want to say a massive thank you to all the referees who have supported WFLA events at Redditch United and throughout regional events as well. I am pleased that we have been able to introduce new referees to events at Redditch providing them with great events to develop their skills. The role has also enabled me to develop some good walking football friendships with people from all around the country.”
